Julia Segal (18) is a freshman at Stanford University. She is a classically trained pianist and a member of the iSing Silicon Valley Girlchoir. Her passion, however, has always been in writing songs. She is the lead singer and songwriter of a Palo Alto-based indie pop band, Reverie (reverie-band-official.com), with whom she performed at various gigs in the Bay Area. She has spent much of her childhood and teenage years tutoring her younger sister. Besides music, she serves as the Co-President for her school's Jewish Student Union. She is looking forward to being able to share her passion and love for music with children around the world.

Lisa Kopelnik (18) is a freshman at University of Virginia. She is a classically trained pianist who began playing the piano in first grade, and recently completed the most advanced level of the Certificate of Merit with Honors. Outside of music, her passions include politics, debate, and tennis. She is her school’s K-12 All School Co-President and co-leads her school’s Women’s Affinity Group and the Jewish Student Union. She co-leads the middle school debate program at her school and is a captain of her school’s debate team. She is thrilled and honored to help your children develop a love for music, and to maintain human connection during such a distant time.

Erin Kim (17) is a soprano singer with twelve years of experience who loves to sing a variety of genres, ranging from choral to classical and musical theater. She currently sings in the Youth Chorale of the New England Conservatory of Music (NEC) Preparatory School, and she has been singing in her district chorus for four years. Most recently, Erin has performed a solo at the National Youth Chorale Festival. She also enjoys playing the flute and is part of the NEC Prep Baroque Ensemble. Erin loves interacting with children and cherishes the opportunity to share her passion for music through QuaranTunes. As Chief Communications Officer, Erin looks forward to fostering a strong sense of connection and community between students, parents, and teachers. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, running, and visiting art museums.

Adithi Nythruva is a senior at Perry High School in Gilbert Arizona. She first started off as a Voice Teacher her junior year, and taught students for over a year in voice. She has been playing piano since around 5, and has played ukelele since Covid. She is also trained on both western classical and Indian Carnatic music. Some fun facts are that she is the current president of her school’s Jazz Choir and is the current president of her school’s Tri-M music honors society.

Stella Straub is a high school senior based near Boston, Massachusetts. She has been playing classical piano for over a decade and was recently the pianist in a pit band for a local production of the musical "Matilda." She originally joined Quarantunes as a piano and music theory teacher to advance the cause of music literacy and give every student the chance to become passionate about music. Outside of piano, Stella is involved in public health policy research, speech and debate team, and is a journalist for her school and local papers. She also enjoys collaging and baking bread with her sourdough starter. As Chief Teacher Coordinator, she hopes to bring on new teachers who are passionate about music literay and to work on expanding the creative arts program at Quarantunes.

Geethika is a senior in high school from California and she has been playing piano for over 6 years. She has completed several certifications in piano performance through ABRSM and is currently preparing for an ABRSM theory exam. She joined Quarantunes as a piano and music theory teacher and enjoys getting to help students with their musical journeys! She is also trained in Indian Carnatic music and has been singing classically for a decade. Geethika is also deeply interested in the creative arts and enjoys to sketch and paint! As Chief Teacher Coordinator, she not only hopes to expand students' access to music lessons, but also to increase outreach for the creative arts program!

Dora has always had a love for the arts, whether it’s singing, sketching, or playing instruments. She has experience playing piano, gaining a foundation for musical theory, and is also learning and teaching cello. Along with cello, she is also teaching guitar and is looking forward to meeting all the students!

Irene is a high school student in Southern California. She has had lots of experience with both Piano and Music Theory, having completed the MTAC "Certificate of Merit- Piano" program with State Honors. She is also a part of a club at her school named "Music to Heal," where students play music at the local senior home on a monthly basis. Irene is looking forward to working with students and any technical issues that she can help resolve!
